    Default OT- Gameday Parking

Holy ****!!! The parking situation (for tailgating) downtown has gotten out of ****ing control. Why has every lot become pre-sold? It is a complete sham! It's bad enough that tickets are through the roof, but the parking passes are rediculous!!!

If you are going to any home games and are trying to tailgate (and dont have a pass), hit ebay for a pass before hand. Gold Lot passes average around $100 on ebay!

Sunday, We decided to test our luck with the scalpers...no deals anywhere!
    Gold Lots=$200
    Green Lots=$150
    Red Lots=$100

After talking with about 6 or 7 guys, we were able to negotiate $175 for Gold Lot parking...unfortunately I didnt have a $5/bill (of course the scalper wasnt gonna break my $20, so we paid $180 ****ing dollars to PARK!!!)

I remember just a couple years ago, there were a couple of lots (under the bridges) that were "event parking" prices...$20-$30! These lots are now all presold and fall under the "Green Lot" scalper pricing schedule.

The "Gold Lot" tailgate scene (3rd time Ive parked there), is awsome!!! I just cant get over what it costs to park now-a-days!

The last 2 games I've attended.I actually had to park in parking garages. Like you said,it's very hard to find lots to tail gate in. I used to always use the one where the Rivers casino now stands.

It's a bummer, Im not a season ticket holder so the couple/few times I get out to a game, I like to get the whole "Stillers Gameday Experience" and it's becoming very unaffordable for the average Bton!
