Default Any Cichlid keepers out there????

I'm on my third freshwater tank.... 45 Gal... 3 Electric Blues, and 3 hybrid 'Blues. With one pleco (who hides until the lights go out).

My first tank consisted of two Red Oscars and a Jack Dempsey. The JD lived long and hard, both Oscars died of "hole in the head." One lived to be huge!!! I fed him Hikari and a "live goldfish" treat every once and a while...

Now I'm on my second run of Rift Valley Cichlids... My last tank of 8 died when my parents "fish-sat" during my vacation, in my APT (western exposure), they left the blinds open and the fish boiled.

I live in an area with hard water which makes RVC handling easy...as the PH of the water is PERFECT!

    Any fish-keepers out there?

Would like to hear from ya... (fresh or salt water)

I use to to take care of some mean barracuda looking fish and some eels at the 24 fitness I use to work graveyard about 18 years ago. The eels were really cool.
