Default May Jeff Fishers job be in danger?

I know the guy has been head coach since 1994. Going back to the Houston days and through the Memphis days and currently standing in the Nashville days. And his record has been impressive. Although he hasnīt been able to win the big one.
But, he has taken the "best team" in the AFC in 2008 to what is about to become a 0-5 record in 2009. And this is basically the same team, minus a couple of guys. OK, he has Kerry Collins as his QB, but also took Vince Young as his backup. Thatīs not going to help much.
    So, are his days numbered?

I would hope it would take more than this recent cold spell for a guy like Fisher to get thrown overboard, but you never know.

I would say yes. His record has been good, but like stated he has never won a Super Bowl, and in fact has only made one appearance.

Maybe....I just don't think I'd can a guy that went 13-3 a season before. I would put that in the category of knee-jerk reaction by some Tit fans. I'm sure half the league would jump at the chance at hiring Fisher if he were suddenly fired. But, as with everything in the NFL, I would be surprised if that happened but not shocked.

Just saw on T.V. where owner Bud Adams said he won't do anything drastic during the season, but he said the major problem with the team is coaching.

Hah - I can see it developing now.

Tits go 4-12, Fisher gets canned at the end of the year.

Stains go 2-14, mangina gets canned at the end of the year.

    See where this is going?

Sad part is that I DO see that as a possibility, and going down that road...

... I was actually gonna say that I would expect his job to be safe for at least another year. But that was before seeing the comments from Adams...

I think Mangina is safe . Although teams are pretty quick to pull the plug on coaches, most get more than one season.

It's time for Fisher and the Titans to go there separate ways. After yesterday's beatdown it's is apparent he has lost the team for whatever reason.

Didn't the tits also lose their Defensive coordinator this past offseason?

I might have to agree on it being time to part ways with Fisher. Don't get me wrong, I've always thought Fisher was a pretty good coach, a good consistent type of guy but outside of providing some decent records in the standings he's not really accomplished anything outside of 1 Superbowl appearance and loss. After 15 years you need to show more than that.

I wouldn't say that Fisher has provided mediocrity as a whole but when the ultimate goal is winning the Superbowl... Fisher's been failing at that since he's become HC

15 years in one place is a long time to coach in the N.F.L. guys like Brian Billick,Jon Gruden and Mike Shannahan have won Super Bowls and still got canned.
