Default Dolphins trade Ginn to 49ers

-for a 5th pick... Why didn't they just swap Tone for Ginn? I'd take Ginn as my KR and my 3rd or 4th wr.

Fresh off their acquisition of Brandon Marshall, the Miami Dolphins on Friday traded wide receiver Ted Ginn Jr. to the San Francisco 49ers.

The trade was first reported on the Twitter account of FoxSports.com's Jay Glazer.

The 49ers will send a fifth-round pick in this year's draft to Miami, a league source confirmed to ESPN.com's Mike Sando.

    The three-day draft begins Thursday.

Totally agree. I very much like Ginn as a kick returner. He would be more valuable than Logan, because he's a decent receiver.I would imagine,he cost quite abit more than Logan though.

Yeah, I agree would cost more but it would be worth it because Ginn gives you that kr and a fast wr to help out Wallace.

...I gotta say, the thing that bugs me about this is that the FO could have waited a few days and definitely could have pulled a swap perhaps for a guy like Ginn then I wouldn't have made too huge a protest over Tone. I mean look at this deal, all it took was a 5th round pick. I think Miami would have done a swap Ginn for Tone.
