Default Music Performance In Competitions or Fun

Performing music you can do yourself is the greatest satisfaction.... whether you do a single.. sing in a quartet with a beer in your hand is really great fun... especially if you remember the words...

Naturally this former "barbershopper" has song with some of the best.. The largest competition International level chorus I sang with had 125 on stage. But, just recently at the 2009 "International Barbershop competitions there was a chorus from St. Charles MO... Their chapter is made up of 242 Men ranging in age from 12 to 85.... Here is the LEGAL Video of the performance. Stick with it..
There is a uniform change that will knock your socks off... view thru it all... please. "Seventy Six Trombones" like you've never heard.
This had to be posted this way...

Great Convention... Check your local areas and try to find a "repairer of string instruments"... tough to find. Oh yes, during a convention they also meet at the local pizza parlor to "jam"...and drink beer like the rest of us like this.

    Great fun... ......

    FEATURED INSTRUMENT FAMILIES
    Young People's Concerts
String instruments make up the largest section of the orchestra. They consist of the violin, viola, cello, and double bass. They all have the same basic shape, but are very different in size. They each have four strings, are made of wood, and are played by drawing a bow across the strings or plucking the strings with the fingers. String instruments also come in smaller sizes so children can learn to play them.

Other members of the string family include the harp, the piano and the harpsichord. The harp has 47 strings so it is considered to be a member of the string family. The strings of the harp are plucked or strummed by the harpist.

The piano is a member of both the string and percussion families of the orchestra. It has strings that are struck with felt covered hammers.

The harpsichord looks similar to the piano, but its sound is softer. The strings of the harpsichord are plucked when the musician plays on the keyboard.
