    Default 6-8-10 STRASBURG-MANIA!!!

    1. Andrew McCutchen - CF
    2. Neil Walker - 2B
    3. Lastings Milledge - LF
    4. Garrett Jones - 1B
    5. Delwyn Young - RF
    6. Andy LaRoche - 3B
    7. Ronny Cedeno - SS
    8. Jason Jaramillo - C
    9. Jeff Karstens - RHP

    1. Christian Guzman 2B
    2. Nyjer Morgan CF
    3. Ryan Zimmerman 3B
    4. Adam Dunn 1B
    5. Josh Willingham LF
    6. Ivan Rodriguez C
    7. Roger Bernadina RF
    8. Ian Desmond SS
    9. Stephen Strasburg Baseball Jesus

What a disaster this could be. Doumit is out with a concussion (shocking!), Bobby Crosby didn't even make the trip with an illness, Ryan Church is sick, but can pinch hit if needed. That basically means the whole bench is Jeff Clement and Aki Iwamura. Andy LaRoche backs up SS I guess? Delwyn Young starts in RF again after his incredible display out there last year (hey, he only created 2 or 3 runs for the Cubs).

At least all of this exposure and people tuning in to watch Karstens pitch won't go to waste.

At least the game will be televised on MLBN... They have Bob Costas doing the game tonight...

... As a sidenote, Strasburg may very well turn-out to be great, but let's wait till he gets a dozen or so straight wins to crown him... Personally, right now I'll take Mike Leake from the Reds...

    Buster Olney, ESPN Insider
The baseball world will stop on Tuesday night, when Stephen Strasburg makes his first start for the Washington Nationals. By all accounts, Strasburg is worth the hype, and it's hard to find a talent evaluator anywhere who doesn't think the right-hander will live up to the hype.

But Strasburg would be doing well if he merely matched the performance of the guy who was taken seven spots behind him in the most recent draft-- the Reds' Mike Leake, who ran his record to 5-0 with a win over the Nationals on Saturday.
    His last four outings:
    7 innings, 0 earned runs/Washington
    6 innings, 0 earned runs/Houston
    7.1 innings, 1 earned run/Pittsburgh
    6 innings, 1 earned run/Atlanta

... Not too shabby for a rookie...

I wish the MLB Network didn't have their feed blacked out locally. I'd rather hear Costas for a change.

Milledge sucks, good pitches to hit ahead in the count for Cutch and Walker, just didn't capitalize.
