Paul McCartney, arguably the most commercially successful performer and composer in popular music, will play two shows at CONSOL Energy Center on Wednesday August 18 and Thursday, August 19. The first show sold out in minutes and DUE TO OVERWHELMING DEMAND, a second Grand Opening Concert was added.

Tickets for the second show are on sale NOW at the Mellon Arena Box Office and through Ticketmaster.

Keeping with his headline-making special concerts, the tour will feature the iconic star and his band returning to Pittsburgh for the first time in more than 20 years. McCartney performed back-to-back, sold-out concerts in the Pittsburgh Civic Arena in February, 1990. Sir Paul made his Pittsburgh debut with The Beatles on September 14, 1964.

McCartney was never mistaken for a great singer or even a great musician solo-wise... but the guy can write a song.

I actually had no idea until the concert announcement that he hadn't played in Pittsburgh since 1990.

Paul McCartney is a jag-off. And he never was or ever will be the song writer or singer that Lennon was. He needs to go back to England and go visit a library, the jerk-off.

Best drummer in the world? He wasn't even the best drummer in the Beatles! Completely capable of keeping 3.59/4 time.

I saw Wings with Linda before she died. I thought it was more recent than that. At the arena.
