    Default Pirates- Indians

    Hello fellas.
I used to post frequently on other boards but now mostly a lurker. However after the weekend series, I began wondering if the Pirates and tribe combined rosters for this year, would we have a team that could contend. Iw as thinking we would be a 500 team but that is really sad. Heres what I came up with

    1 Cutch- CF
    2 Choo LF
    3 Kearns RF
    4 Jones 1b
    5 Alvarez 3b
    6 Santana C
    7 Walker 2b
    8 Asdrubel SS

Bench would have Hafner, Peralta, Tabata Donald

Sp- Carmona, Maholm, Talbott then combo of ohlendorf, Westbrook, Duke

pretty much our bullpen with maybe perez

Nope nevermind, this team still sucks

    Still nobody that can pitch

good to see ya post KAD.

I went to the Father's Day Game, got to run the bases afterwards and get a killer suntan Watching the game the one thing I came away from it was Brad Lincoln's pitches. His velocity is really low right now. He was hitting 91-92 on the radar but it felt like it was 92 more. He has more velocity than that and showed more in his first outting. The other thing I noticed was the breaks on his breaking pitches. there's virtually no movement, at least according to the ring score board at PNC Park. His horizontal and vertical breaks were anywhere from 0 to -2 and that's it.

That, combined with his drop in velocity makes me wonder if they are working with Lincoln on something.
