It was the 22-year-old Crosby, arguably the highest-profile player in the sport today, who raised his voice last Sunday on a union conference call and firmly told interim executive director Ian Penny to hang up the phone because union members wanted to have a players-only discussion. Penny, who had first been rebuffed in his efforts to have baseball union leader Donald Fehr speak to the NHLPA team representatives, finally had to relent and get off the line.

Atta boy, sid. Donald Fehr is a big gigantic pile of ****. Keep his away from the NHL and in any meetings and decision making. Seriously, they need to get this interim ******* out of there. Anyone that thinks it's a great idea to bring in 1/3 of what has ruined baseball is dumber than a box of rocks

Yeah well Bettman is about as bad as Selig...so Fehr would add a 2nd 1/3 and make the NHL a failure for sure.

Bettman for as bad as people want to say he is, is probably the better of him, Selig and Goodell. Bettman brought in true parity, a cap, real revenue sharing, a great draft signing process and scale etc... He's more villianized for his expansion into warmer zones while ignoring Canada but if that's the worst he's done... Fine with me. Goodell's done **** except is facing an uncapped season, punishes players harshly and allows cheaters to get a slap on the wrist. Bud Selig has done nothing unless you are a Large Market team, fan and owner, then Bud is fan-****ing-tastic
