This is a great trade for the B's. They still have the#2 pick that will result in whatever Tyler is left. I guess Horton fell out of favor in Florida, especially since he hasn't exactly lived up to expectations. Bruins will be much better next year, and they were a playoff team this season. Campbell is also a very good 3/4th liner that is an exceptional PK'er.

Horton Has a TURD of an attitude & Work Ethic, While Wideman Stunk last year he is a GOOD D Man & Campbell is a Good Checking Line Center & PKer

Also Dale Tallon the new GM of the Panthers now Has (3, 15, 33, 36,50). 5 of the Top 50 Picks in the Draft

Seems like a good trade for both teams. Cats get a good puck moving PP QB and a 1st rounder, the Bears get a scoring forward who still has upside and a depth forward.

I'd take it. Better chance of one of those players turning out to be a stud than a lone pick

Bruins made out in this one. Horton >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Wideman and it';s not even close.

Horton is a 60 point 30 goal scorer on ****ty offensive Florida teams at the age of 25 signed through 2012-13 at a $4 million cap hit.

Put it this way, he Horton makes the same money as jordan Staal but as a Top 6 Winger on ****ty teams with more point production.

and for Dennis Wideman? Overpaid ($3.8 million) 27 year old defenseman who was protected by Chara?

Personality flaws or not, if you want to win you take the talent and hope for the best as far as personality issues. I'd love to have Horton skating along side Sid or Geno. Huge upgrade and a great price. Talking about 40 goal scoring potential

Kip there are teams that will trade out of the 1st round because they don't want to spend 1st round money on 2nd round talent, & same way for 2nd round picks too

Most definitely. doesn't eman that you can't find some good talent in later rounds.

Again, I'd take 5 picks in the 2nd over 1 pick in the 1st or 2nd especially at Chicago's slot.
