    Default Frolov

I seriously think the pens should strongly consider signing alex frolov. Hes a top 6 winger and a goal scorer. Hes basically like a kovlachuck but cheaper. He would compliment crosby/malkin. What do you guys think?

I am not against it. They better do something that is all I know. Better be aggressive or half our team will be made up of WBS players.

I agree with you there. They need a good winger for either sid or geno (or both) and one real bad

Well the argument was that scoring is not a problem for the Pens. They were in the top 5 or something. I am not even sure if that stat would be for the reg season or the playoffs or what. There were most definitely some real long stretches where we couldn't buy a goal. In the playoffs though I think a lot of people blame MAF whereas I take the position that our defense massively **** the bed. We need a really good stay at home defenceman and sure we could improve other positions but this is the #1 need imo. Hamhuis would be that kind of guy but god**** now it is starting to look like we should have just paid Scuds the $$ if this guy is going to want more than 4 big ones a year. Once you take care of that then I think you need to look at a reasonably priced wing. Kovalchuk would be nice but we really don't need that when you have centers that are a bit more than playmakers. These 2/3 million dollar guys have been kinda mediocre for us tho. Wish we could blow a little more and someone a little less risky but we will see soon enough. I would imagine things will get busy tomorrow.

I'll take a couple lower profile players. I wouldn't mind Nikolai Kulemin from Toronto. Pair him with Malkin and Johnson.
