    ... New president = new AD, and Garrett had too many bad things happen on his watch.

    Good for him and nothing against him but I never really liked having a USC guy the the ND TV booth.

    LoL!.... I completely understand.... It's sorta "taboo".

    .... But his ability/experience will undoubtably make him better to deal with any media issue... Garrett was a slug when it came to media issues, and couldn't handle the press to save his life. Haden has the media exposure, and if needed, can present himself and the university appropriately.... Not to mention that he won 2 titles while at USC, and has a bit of "clout" so to speak....

    Garrett stepping down was the best thing that could have happened to USC's program. That guy was a straight up crook.

    Is it ironic timing that USC announced they're returning Reggie Bush's Heisman to the Heisman Trophy Trust and are taking down all murals of he and OJ Mayo on the same day Garrett "stepped down"? You be the judge.
