    Default JR's Tossing

hey all...bit removed from things with being on the road so much and the slingbox being down...saw last night that JR finally showed some emotion and got the boot.

Guess I thought I'd have seen a bit more on here about that...or are we beyond caring at this point?

If there is a game that epitomizes the Pittsburgh Pirates under JR...and in the end epitomizes his whole management time here in Pittsburgh it was the game on Friday the 18th where everything that fundamentally COULD have gone wrong...DID go wrong....

Im over caring about him as a manager.

    That's just me though

    Beyond caring

Actually I didn't get in front of a PC until late and was drained to mention anything about last nights game....

I wanna say that Russell was ejected recently from a game as well and I wanna say he was ejected from a game I attended (Fathers Day or May 20-something).

It's nice to see him do. I've never quite been on the Russell needs to be more of a rah-rah guy. There's been a couple throwing out awful ideas like Jose Oquendo :kill me: . You can be a quiet coach as long as the team doesn't go out on the field without emotion. Russell's teams don't seem like they play with enough rah-rah and thats what I'd rather see... a team play with emotion. Hell, look at Colorado. they play with emotion and Jim Tracy naps in the dugout
