Default Heinz Field Food Is A "Hazard"...

    Another slow news day....
    -------------

What's lurking in your stadium food?.... ESPN's "Outside The Lines" did a report on all 107 venues in pro sports... They have an interactive map where you can view the results...

61% of vendors were found in violation at Heinz Field... Including a vendor washing his hands with his gloves on, and milk that expired 10 days prior.

55% at Mellon Arena (not that it matters now) were in violation... Including cockroaches on the soda machine in the club boxes.

53% at PNC Park... One location had 7 critical violations, including raw chicken and beef stored above bread, and restrooms without any hot water.

Here's the link to the interactive map if you want to search other facilities....

... Personally, for me, I do alot of stuff to my body that isn't good... Usually alcohol would kill any bacteria I would ingest...

It's pretty much expected. I worked at 3 Rivers a couple times I know how it is. That is why we eat before we go in eh?

Very true.... But to be honest, I don't give a crap at the time...

.... Wonder whether the place at PNC was Primanti's... Not too many places have chicken and beef both on the menu.

I am with you dood. My policy is what I don't know won't hurt me. I never get food poisoning tbh. My body is probably conditioned from my younger days when I would eat pizza that sat on the counter for 2 days

Could be. Every time they would show Primanti Bros. during a Steeler game, they'd show the people making the sandwiches with their greasy bare hands not wearing any kind of gloves. Considering how popular Primanti Bros. is around here, that goes to show you how many people around here just don't give a **** about that sort of thing! lol

Only 2 days....phhshhhhh....man pizza is good for at least a week, even if it has sat in the box on the floor the entire time.

That Primanti's at PNC is the arm pit of vendors in the stadium. I feel sorry for anyone from out of town who walks away from that spot thinking its a real Primanti's sandwhich.

Violations and foul stuff happen, no matter what resteraunt you're at, no matter where. I guess if I don't see it, it doesn't bother me.

It's bad enough paying $6-7 for a beer but paying that much for nachos or some pig parts is borderline retarded.

Fill you gut up before you go in. If nothing else sneak in so BBQ pork rinds.

I'm not sure if they serve both chicken and beef at that Primanits. The menu there is tiny (naturally) compared to a real Primantis. I swear that they only have like 2 or 3 sandwich selections and 2 of them are "Ham & Cheese" and "Steak & Cheese"

Right now I would kill for some PNC Park or Heinz Field grub. That would mean I would be back home, besides, nothing could be worse than the grub, service or the people I have encountered watching the Buccos play in chitcago. The people are just plain *******s. Ain't no way I was throwing back a McCutchen HR ball.
