That's quite true...I really think we need to look seriously at Tomlin's history here. He's a disciplinarian...sits Mendenhall b/c he's not practicing well...sits Parker and Mendenhall after fumbles...I wonder what he'll do about Reed.
Tell him to lay off the booze and start hitting the weight room??

    Thanks man.

Gostkowski I wouldn't mind, but how much dough will he want? If it would be less than Reed, I'd take it.
I would think Indy would be releasing Stover when Vinatieri gets healthy.

Tell him to atleast attempt to do his job every given sunday and to not embarrass the team too much on and off the field. B/c he was an embarrassment today.

I'd not mind Gostkowski or Janikowski...but both are going to be expensive. The Steelers will likely try to sign a guy UDFA and see if he can compete with another UDFA for the job.

I'd take Stover over if he'd be released and could be brought in for Reed. Stover has had success on our field...knows the conditions...and is pretty darn reliable.

He cant kick off...cant represent the team well off the field...and at least THIS season has been questionable ON the field.

Not saying we're going to sign any but here are the FA kickers

    Kickers currently available
Matt Bryant--pretty reliable veteran...might not be able to kick at Heinz
Brandon Coutu--former UGA kicker I believe...never kicked in NFL
    Piotr Czech--yeah...no.
Parker Douglas--who? Rookie never kicked before
    Graham Gano--who? Rookie...never kicked before
Taylor Mehlhaff--youngster who really probably wouldn't be good@ Heinz now
    Dave Rayner--YIKES
    Alex Romero--rookie
Sam Swank--former Wake Forest kicker I believe
Mike Nugent--NOT GOOD...but has cold weather experience LOL
Connor Barth--wasn't great for KC last year, but decent.

Yeah the only person I would want would be Matt Stover...and he's currently employed.

Hopefully. I doubt we spend big $$$ for a kicker though...I bet we go after a UDFA.
