    Default The Pittsburgh Cocaine Seven

The Pittsburgh Cocaine Seven is a new book coming out by a local writer. The release date is September 2nd or something along those lines.

Has some decent reviews from those able to read it early.

    Thanks for this.

I might have to pick this one up. I've always wanted to learn more into the cocaine stuff but there's not really been a good wealth of information.Too bad the internet wasn't around back then

The writer is from Blairsville, just east of Pittsburgh. He was a grade ahead of me in high school. Really good guy and bucco fan. If you are local and into reading this you should go to his signing.

For some reason local Pittsburgh media isn't mentioning the book at all.

Local Media doesn't like to mention something if it isn't going to benefit them because most are opportunistic pricks (in the major media like PG and Trib).

I won't be able to make a signing but I'll definitely look for the book the next time I'm out at the mall or Barnes and Noble

Then, when we as fans start booing the coked up players or demanding they get traded, Smizik would call us a bunch of ignorant fickle hicks. Remind us that players from the past were no angels, and we should just worry about what they do ON the field......
