    Default Bullington

Did anyone get to watch him get his first ML win?

Bummed he didn't ever produce with us, but nice to see him stick it out and finally do something...anything...

I heard he looked pretty good. KC has been pretty good as of late developing pitchers. Maybe that's the pitching coach the Pirates need to be looking at.

I believe I have a Bullington Bobblehead somewhere. Maybe now I can get $0.01 for it on eBay.

I love bragging in the office that a Pirate's castoff beat their beloved Yankees.

I've decided to change my mantra from "My two favorite teams are the Pittsburgh Steelers and anybody that beats the Dallas Cowboys." to "My two favorite teams are the Pittsburgh Steelers and anybody that beats the New York Yankees."

POLITICIANS AND DIAPERS SHOULD BE CHANGED OFTEN AND FOR THE SAME REASON!

I saw it in the paper actually and was sort of shocked by it as well. I'll be surprised if the good fortune lasts. I went to look and see how he's faired and his BB.9 is a 3.9 which is pretty high and his K/9 is 5.6 which is Zach Duke's K/9 this year. He's allowing just a 6.9 hits per 9 innings which is VERY LOW. Amazingly I checked out his AAA numbers from this year and they are in the same ballpark. Lower BB/9 of course but the strong WHIP, ERA and low H/9... Not sure what's become of Bullington at 29 years of age :d

Karstens almost threw a no hitter for us in his initial games for us. Bullington will falter. It is nice to see him have some success though.

that wasn't Bullington's initial game. I wanna say it was the 2nd game this season he had started and had accrued some pen time as well... but I'm with ya. I can't see Bullington maintaining that low of a hit rate against him

Yeah, was saying in Karsten's initial games he almost threw a no-no. Next we will see JVB get a win somewhere else. Or better yet, start at 1B for someone and jack homers LOL.
