    Default 5-2 at the bye.

With all the things that the Steelers have done poorly, they are sitting pretty good. The mental mistakes early on and the bad playcalling along with the recent rash of turnovers could have ruined the season already, but somehow here we are at 5-2 with a share of the division lead.

THE good thing is, all of these short comings are easily fixable. The dropped balls have decreased for the most part. Arians needs to learn how to "Let go and Let Ben", while Mendenhall must learn ball retention skills, especially in the redzone.
THE lack of turnovers on defense is becoming less of a concern with the return of Troy. With four in the last two games, resulting in 2 touchdowns, it seems the Troy effect is bringing the defense out of a season long slump.
THE good things of the 1st half of the season are Ben having a career year so far, the improvement of the O-line, and Mike Wallace as well as Hines leading the league in yards.
During the bye, if the Steelers get on the details, there is no reason they can't go 8-1 and roll into the playoffs

To me, the Denver game is going to be big, could have ramifications later on down the line. Curious what Carter will decide to do.

I hope Clark stays home. No need to risk getting sick again.

If they can get it together and play like they are capable of, they would be a total nightmare for everyone who had to play them.

After the way we started off, I'll definately take 5-2 going into the bye week after ripping off four straight wins. It sure as hell beats 2-5.

Are there things that we need to work on? Absolutely and I'm sure the team knows it, but I have no complaints for the most part. We are getting the W's and that's all I really give a **** about at the end of the day.

The wins have been ugly and yes they are wins, but I sure as hell wouldn't mind a few no doubt about it games mixed in from time to time
The problems that we have had aren't major ones, but they need to address them over the bye week. The rest of the schedule is very favorable, let's take advantage of it
