    Default Chuck Finder is awesome

From his story on the Sunday August 22 game:

Doumit had six putouts in right field, including a ninth-inning job where he had to retreat to the warning track for Chris Carter's flyout. "Oh, that was routine," McCutchen sneered. But what with these 41-83 Pirates is routine?

The problem is Ryan Doumit played catcher (and made a big error in the first inning). The right fielder was Lastings Milledge. I guess they look similar enough that you could be confused.

I saw some retard really quickly this morning as I spent a good amount of time catching up on reading trying to declare that doumit should be the starter over Milledgte facing righties because of XXXXXX stats. This was at the Pirates.com site in the comments section.

Problem with this is that as a RF'er, Ryan Doumit is hitting .100 . Platoon would be fine if Doumit wasn't struggling to hit anything since being moved to RF. Hell, with his 0'fer yesterday, he's not even hitting as a catcher

That's hysterical. I watched the game and didn't even notice that in the article. Good pickup there jnn.
