Let me be the guy to (kind of) stick up for BA... His first half mix has been ****ing solid! "Greedy" is the word for the second half! We have had the lead (I believe) every week now going into half! I like that he is staying aggresive with the play calling, however, I cannot stand to see Miller's role be reduced in lieu of the "homerun/knockout punch"...

Im sure yinz remember the playoff game in '02 vs. the stains???? BA's offense came out to a HUGE lead and did the same BS in the second half (which led to a last minute Stillers' win).

It was clear that Det. had NO answer for Miller (and Delicous, for that matter) and for some reason went away from what works in the first half?....

I really think this guy has some ego issues (he wants the "throat"), unfortunately, we cannot execute!

To his defense (yinz guys are gonna love this...) I love the (passing) formations that he brings to the table...he runs us out of some VERY complicated sets that cause a TON of confusion for the opposing D...(see Ben's completion %)

    Just sayin

Come on Les, someone has to !!!

I really think that BA's desire to "utilize his weapons" has interfered with all forms of formal logic...(at least in the second half)

I will go on the record (much to the dismay of most of yinz) by saying that BA IS maximizing our offensive potential...the only problem is he needs to know when to play situational football

LET IT BE KNOWN, TAVERN... BTON is NOT a BA apologist...(but he does like some things he does with our talent)...(and yinz can tell when Im drinking when I refer to myself in the 3rd person LOL!)

...I'll understand if I get ousted

Not to sound like an intervention specialist, but I would say that sticking up for Bruce Arians is a **** good reason to quit drinking.

If brucey would just stay with what worked in the first half, he would be fine. How can you go from looking (almost) like a genious in the first half to looking like Joe Walton in the second?

Bton66...I think it is interesting what you mention about BA and his first half ability. That is part of the problem for the team right now. With our D not being able to close games we need our offense to continue to score. In some ways because of our D struggles we almost need to be like college teams...keep scoring and hope for the best. BA seems to really not understand that in the 2nd half he still has to play the game. Mendenhall had 5.1 ypc average against Detroit and didn't get the ball really in the 2nd half? Even as the passing game stopped being effective? Not really sure how that works. BA does seem to game plan for the first half well enough...but the problem with him ALL ALONG is that he cant break a game plan and adjust...and this surely seems accurate looking at the 1st/2nd half this season.

Well, that's good diagnostic work, Brucie Boy. Now do something about it, dammit. Please note that I do not necessarily mean reverting to "Parker up the middle" (since "Willie up the middle" is a little rude!).

Brucey, don't think of it as the 2nd half, think of it as the 2nd game of a double header.
