    Default Vintage Sci-Fi?

Need some recommendations. I am in that mode right now. I put a few movies on the phone for watching at my leisure. Half way through Escape From New York City right now. Got Blade Runners Directors Cut en queue.

Some more of my favorites: THX-1138, Altered States, Final Approach, Brazil, Logan's Run

    Better late than never, right?

Brazil, Space:1999 (season one has better stories, season two has Catherine Schell's legs) and Logan's Run are good recommendation.

If you fancy something a little older, head for It Came From Outer Space or (since I like that kind of thing) This Island Earth.

Logans Run = good call I don't think I have seen that one. Yeah I am up for Sci-Fi of any vintage.

Looks like some good suggestions here even. I'll have to see if I can pull some files.

This one has my interest and is coming down quickly

    40) Things to Come (1936)

A big budget treatment of HG Wells's future history of Everytown, from 1940 to 2036, Things to Come has barely dated. The effects, from the air raid sequences to the vision of a future society, are still awe-inspiring, but the political and prescient script keeps things grounded in reality.

Oh look at this. These films are supposedly in the public domain so should be legal torrent downloads. They even have mobile versions up. I am going to try a couple. I see Flash Gordon there, ****ing woody!

After a slow start, District 9 ends up having a story. It shows futuristic touch screens and what could have been good graphics.

Planet 61 is a cartoon, where some world is stuck in the retro 50's. Another slow start, but fun thereafter.

You are a legend Crossbones. Every time you pop in one of my threads... Sposed to talk about the antiques in here! That's ok.

Got most of the way through Inception last night. I am enjoying it.
