Default Well with Leftwich out for a month..

Looks like Dixons gonna be the starter. Even though he looked shaky aganist the giants, i still think he can carry the Steelers to a 2and2 (or better) record in the 1st 4 weeks. Hes got the skill. What do you guys think?

If Dixon actually starts all 4 games (I predict he'll eventually be benched) I will gladly take 2-2.

I'm just finding it extremely hard to picture this offense with Dixon moving the ball on any consistent basis at all. Arians still calling the plays? Check. Dixon still a limited and inconsistent passer with questionable ability in reading defenses? Check. O-line still mediocre? Check. How is this team going to score more than 10 or 13 points in a game without the help of TO's and/or defensive TD's?

Dwyer is tweeting from his personal twitter account that he made the team.

Is this fact or just your guess ? I would rather see Bacth start to tell you the truth. I think Bacth has it all over Dixon except for being a glass house. Maybe it would be the wise move to start Dixon he, can probably take the beating that the o-line will allow to happen.

Not much said about ARE and I wasn't so sure he was going to make the team but with the lack of having a third quarterback this just might allow for more consideration to retain ARE.

I think are is a lock. Since Dixon got more reps than anyone and the fact they pulled him so quick in the game leads me to beleive he is the starter. I don't think there has been an official statement tho. Tell the truth I am fine either way, let's just get this thing going ready or not.

What is Lefty's injury ? I heard a sprain MCL and I heard a torn MCL. I'm guessing it's just a sprain since they are saying he'll be out only a couple or few weeks.

Doesn't matter he is useless for the dates we need him.

I think Dixon isn't a full QB, and we'll run the ball a lot more.
    Hidden Content and the pirates...

I think Batch has the head to prevail and Dixon the skills.

It's up to Tomlin to use them both wisely.

If we go into the bye week 2-2, we should feel happy and "yes," we could go in at 3-1,
    I don't see four wins.

Yeah, for me Dixon is a no. Not a "well rounded" qb. He is erratic and not accurate enough and too young. Bounce passes are not allowed in football- they should start Charlie Batch imo bring Dixon off the bench for specialized plays.
