    Default Dixon vs. Interceptions

How many interceptions do you think Dixon will throw this Sunday ?

If the coaches decide to play smash mouth running, Dixon will throw two pics.

If they decide Dixon is going to air it out, four to five picks.

I'm wonder how many open receivers he will miss this Sunday prior to him getting happy feet.

I don't think he will throw any picks. He's going to prove to the world that he's a "pocket style" passer and by the end of the 2nd quarter he will have been sacked 8 times! Maybe he should wear the number 10 jersey?

Are you saying he will be on his back too often to actually get a chance to throw a pick or a pass ? lol

If we are speculating?... I think he throws for a TD and runs another in, with maybe one pick early, before he settles in...

Wow 4 or 5 picks? Way to keep the glass half full?! I'm sure he'll play to a similar level that we could've expected from Leftwich!

Atlanta's pass defense blows. Dixon can probably make it through this one without a pick. Maybe 1 but I see a lot of running and gadgets (if desperately needed).

I'm mroe worried about Tennessee and Baltimore's defenses with Dixon than Atlanta and Tampa Bay

Sounds like an average Sunday for Big Ben.

    Haha no ****.

I am kinda with Bton here. I think he will throw a pick to keep all the haters happy but I think 2 TD drives at least. I think they both get ran in (not by him) but I think he will get 50 yards on the ground.

Thank you Beez... finally somebody realizes that this kid CAN move the ball!!! Now if we can eliminate the mistakes in RZ/FG range that we saw in Denver, we will be just fine!

-Provided the Defense and ST play "decent" at best!

You mean throwing to the wrong team? Completing about 55% of his passes and throwing for a putrid 5.9 YPA? He wasn't moving the ball through the air very effectively just like against Baltimore last year where he throw for less than 50% completion and again another **** poor 5.6 YPA

Dixon isn't very good and luckily we are facing some bad pass defenses against Atlanta, Tampa Bay and Tennessee which should help out some. We also have Bruce Arians calling the plays too

Just like any team that has to play without their franchise QB, you hope for the best from your career backup unless his name is Steve Young and you root for them to win. There's just no need IMO to try and make lousy players appear to be better than what they are because you want that team to win. I wanted the Steelers in 1985 to win some games and I wasn't trying to make Mark Malone the second coming of Bradshaw

Were these numbers at Baltimore last year??? Im confused?

Here's the breakdown of his preseason numbers vs. Lefty's:

    Completion Percentage:
    Dixon- 71.9%
    Lefty- 45.8%

    YPA:
    Dixon- 10.2
    Lefty- 7.5

    TD's Passing:
    Dixon- 2
    Lefty- 1 > (both with a 68yd long)

    INT's
    Dixon- 2
    Lefty- 0

    QB rating:
    Dixon- 99.3
    Lefty- 85.6

Seemed like a dead heat to me? Kind of like the upside of Dixon though... Just tryin to stay optimistic!!!!
