Not really. Reed is kicking off this week.

I would imagine that Reed will still get the duty, but I still prefer Sepulveda... Maybe not too much deeper, but more of a player to make a tackle if needed... And with our ST, it will be needed...

I actually think they should stick with Reed. If Sepulveda starts struggling with the kick offs then it starts effecting his punting too. I don't think Sep can do much better than Reed anyway. This needs to be addressed in the off-season. Hopefull by getting a new kicker that can kick-off and kick field goals.

Bingo!!! Neither of these guys are gonna kick it 5yds deep into the endzone, but you bet your *** that Sep wont puss out on a tackle (or at least force a returner to the sideline). You won't see Sep on the "C'mon Man" segment on Monday Night Countdown!!!

I don't even blame D-bag for that. That just illustrates the ineptitude of our coverage unit. Of course Reed doesn't help things much but you don't want your kicker to have to make a tackle.

Agreed... You don't WANT him to do so, but with this unit, it's inevitable... If Sup were to start to struggle, you could always revert back to Reed... Besides, I still think the dozen or so yards on the KO could have the domino effect and help the D.... But I really don't know ****...

I don't want Sepulveda making tackles. He's not paid to do that and if he got hurt, there goes our punting. If Reed's kicking is an issue, and I'm one to criticize him for it, then squib kick the **** ball and be done with it.

POLITICIANS AND DIAPERS SHOULD BE CHANGED OFTEN AND FOR THE SAME REASON!

Just to play "devil's advocate"... Neither is Reed... Neither of them are paid to tackle...

... But how many times have you seen it come down to that? Our special teams just never seem to get their act together, and the kicker needs to make a play... If he runs away from the action as Reed has, they get chastised... But you don't want him to get hurt either... It can't go both ways when it is an inevitable foregone conclusion that it will happen.

I am really hoping the coverage unit is improved this year. We haven't really seen much evidence of it yet and it's going to take a while before I quict perspiring when we have to kick but they have gone to great length to try to improve in this area and I hope it pays off. I mean limiting the returns would be awesome but if they don't send more than 2 or 3 to the house I will be ecstatic. When the games are as close as they are with the Steelers, you can't be spotting them 7 points. No doubt in my mind the Steelers were a playoff team with an average ST last year. Defensive bed ****ting and all.

Couldnt have said it better! Reed is tough vs. a paper towel dispenser, or a beer bong, but he has nothing on a returner... We can only hope that it doesnt come down to the kicker making a play, but my money is on Sep!

I know this is "College" and a "punt"...but cannot be discounted:

    That video was awesome!

Maybe we should have the little kid who runs out on the field to pick up the kicking tee just grab skippy and take him off too!
