Default Should Players Be Allowed to Celebrate/Show Boat?

I was going to say "NFL" Players but I think you'd be a hypocrite and promote double standards if you were against it for one sport and not the other.

Basically the question at task in longer form is ....

Should Players (NFL in this instance) be allowed to celebrate, show emotion, do dances, display enthusiasm OR

Act like they've been there before, maybe at best give a high-five revert back to the 1960's-70's?

Don't really give a **** if they want to act like fools. I figure if they let it happen more often you'll end up seeing who the "PLAYAS" are and who the Players are. (IE..showing a little class). Personally I'd rather have Players on my team than PLAYAS.

Thinking about it I've come up with an idea. Let them celebrate but it will cost them 1 dollar for the first time. Second time 10 dollars. Third time 100 dollars and so on multiplying by a factor of 10 each time throughout their career. The fine will go towards a charity in the city of incident. Most of them would be bankrupt by their 8th celebration.

There's a time and place for everything. Holmes Super Bowl winning catch no problem,Bobby Shaw's Superman shirt when his team is getting smoked, problem.

I like that idea! My personal pet peeve is when they thank Jesus for scoring a touchdown or getting a sack. News Flash! Jesus doesn't give a **** if you score a touchdown.

Celebrate as a team. This bull**** of chest pounding and strutting crap after making a frigging tackle is bush league. Particularly in the NFL. Sidney may fist pump when he scores, but then is immediately surrounded by his teammates. Most (and I do say not all) of the showboating in the NFL is "Hey, look at me" ****. It's boring.

Then you take the prank crap like pulling a cell phone out from under the goal posts. Won't even comment on that.

POLITICIANS AND DIAPERS SHOULD BE CHANGED OFTEN AND FOR THE SAME REASON!

IMO.... in football, TD celebrations should be limited to the spike! Remember the SPIKE? If you've ever scored a TD at any level of football (even backyard) nothing felt better than spiking the ball as hard as you could!

Any other celebration should be limited to fist pump, chest bump or high (or low) five! Nothing choreographed.... keep it old school!

Celebrations are okay as long as they are done with class.. Being excessive is not. Just where you draw that line is the real question. I used to enjoy the old school celebration with the fun bunch and Billy "White Shoes" Johnson but I think players these days go too far with bringing sharpies and cell phones into to the act plus they are not really that whimsical and spontaneous as they were in the 70's and 80's. Today, they are staged and boring really.

Personally I always appreciate it when the scoring player hands the ball to the Official.A wave to the crowd should be enough for a TD,interception, runs or catches over 20yds and perhaps a sack .Everything else your just doing your job.If you want choreographed crap watch "dancing with stars".
