    Default Anyone See #99 Today?

I love the win, but did Keisel do anything?

It may be time for "Ziggy" to get some more playing time and Brett to sit.

I'm all for "Ziggy time" because this team needs to get younger on "D"

Did anyone see Zig in preseason? Kiesel was the best DL last year IMO. I am not trying to replace him. That's dumb. Overall I think the D crushed it. I don't want to hear people *****ing after we held them to single digits. **** thread.

    Beezy--

I'm sorry--truly--that you don't want to hear people saying #$%@^&%$, or whatever it is you wrote.

But, I am entitled to my opinion and I think Keisel didn't do much against Atlanta and Hood, who did, BTW, deserves more minutes.

    Hood was a #1 pick.

As far as pre-season, did anyone play better than A. Brown and where was he today?? So much for pre-season.

Antonio Brown was inactive for today's game.

and if Ziggy plays like he did today he will get more playing time.

He is going to get more playing time and deservedly so but if you are suggesting he should start in place of Brett, I don't think so. If that's not waht you were suggesting then I apologize.

No, not start in lieu of him, just get more playing time.

Eason seemed to be on the field more than Hood.

You made my point re Brown. He had a great pre-season--especially for a rookie--but he didn't dress today while Sanders did.

Me too and Sanders still doesn't impress me one bit as a kick returner. That we are forced to use an OLD Randel El who stopped returning kicks slowly with Washington is a big regression IMO.

Hasn't Hood played some NT? I was sort of disappointed to see Hoke in there after Hampton's hamstring instead of Hood.

As for wondering where Keisel was ..... Aaron Smith was just as invisible which is a normality for our DL in most instances except when Hood is out there. Kid is a play maker, the others are pure run stoppers and lane creaters for blitzes

Sure, I am with you there. I can't even really comment, I don't know what they are thinking. Maybe they have a good reason idk.

I think you will see Brown next week. I think Tomlin even said that they would take turns riding the pine. Not sure.

What constitutes a Kiesel sighting? Falling on a fumble? Getting a sack? I thought the D-line looked great today, they did a good job of controlling the LOS. Kiesel looked fine to me. I do agree that Hood should get some more playing time. So far, Hood hasn't exactly been impressive in limited action.

it's hard to complain about any of our starting DL when the Falcons had 25 rushes and gained only 58 yards, a measly 2.3 average.

I thought I saw Hood twice in Ryan's face, again with limited playing time.

    Anyway, today's game, is history.

Are you out of your mind? Hood is always making plays and noticed positively when he gets his limited time. You see him making a play mroe than any other on the DL because he can not only stop the run but he can penetrate into the backfield more like a 4-3 lineman. Smith, Hampton and Keisel are mroe traditional run stoppers and gap openers for the LB's and blitzers. Not noticing them isn't a bad thing, it's pretty normal, but Ziggy Hood has shown the ability to do what they do and more in limited action. I really want to see mroe and more of Hood
