Ex-Steeler Hartwig among three players set to visit Bengals

The Cincinnati Bengals will bring in center Justin Hartwig, wide receiver/return specialist Dexter Jackson and fullback Owen Schmitt for visits this week, league sources said Monday.

Hartwig was released by the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sept. 4 after they were unable to pin down a trade partner.

Jackson spent the 2008 season with the Carolina Panthers, but he wasn't on an NFL roster last year.

Schmitt played for the Seattle Seahawks the last two seasons.

The Bengals lost to the New England Patriots 38-24 in the season opener.
