    Default If Parker is healthy...............

Who does Arians start? I still think after back to back 100 yard games. (I am giving Mendy the benefit of the doubt in the Lions game since Arians took the ball out of his hands and he would have gotten 100 yards easy) he starts Willie.

    I'm guessing they rotate.

Not sure who is the official "starter", not sure it matters.

This week?............ Mendy, hands down... As it was stated somewhere else, this gives them the opportunity to start him and go with the hot hand while letting Parker rest/heal completely... Parker will (possibly) be a needed addition later in the season for Minn or after the bye, but right now, I say go with Mendy.

Perhaps, but I have a feeling they won't have to make that decision for a while. These toe injuries have a way of hanging on for a long time. It might sound whimpy, but turf toe ended Lambert's career.

Honestly,I could care less if it was the Pope that got back to back 100 yard games,if Arians has ANY say whatsoever in who starts at RB,Mike Tomlin should be canned immediately.................and I'm a Tomlin supporter.

You'd have to be an idiot to not go with the hot hand which is - Mendenhall. Unfortunately, if Bruce is making the decision, he IS an idiot but most likely, this is a Tomlin decision on who to start and we haven't really seen enough of these instances to figure out what Tomlin will do. Does he go with the hot hand? is he one of those "you don't lose your job due to injury" types?

    Idiot we have.

Was it me or did anyone else see in Willie's face that he knew his job was slowly disappearing with every Mendy run. I still think Arians believes it is Willie's job to lose.

I guess I have to agree with that, and if it's a foregone conclusion that this is Parker's last year, then go with Mendy and see what you have.

I still would like to see them use Parker and not just sit him on the bench though.

Like Parcells always says. "If you want me to cook the dinner I need to buy the ingredients."

I think Arians has the same arrangement with Tomlin.

There's a big difference between the two. One (Parcells is a proven winner) where Bruce is .......

I really hope/don't think Tomlin gave that much "power" of the offense to Arians. I can see he giving Lebeau that much, but not Arians. Lebeau has proven himself to be a top notch defensive coordinator. Arians has done nothing here or anywhere else he's been.

I would like to see them switch it up a bit. After 2 games Mendenhall has the best YAC (contact) average in the NFL. Maybe try to beat defenses down in the first half. Then start to sprinkle Willie in there during the third, he'll be fresh and maybe able to run around on a worn down Defense.
