Default Todays announcers, maybe the worst ever

I am not a media hater usually.

But Solomon Wilcotts and Ian ???

They didn't realize that it was a two score game, even up to the point where Ten. was kicking off and they were insinuating that the Titans could try to get the ball back. With :58 and no time outs left.

    Wow just wow.

These guys are both the bottom of the barrel for the CBS crews. We should get another terrible combo next week. no way in hell CBS is going to send out anything but a crappy crew for a game against Tampa Bay

I usually have Bill, Tunch and the Wolfman on instead of the TellyTardies. Solomon Wilcotts is a total doughnut puncher.

Hillgrove may have lost his wits a decade ago, but I'd take him over any of the national guys in a heartbeat.

Yeah, I love the energy and passion that Hillgrove brings to announcing. Unfortunately, almost every play he badly screws up where the ball is, what down it is, etc. But, if you're watching the game while listening to him, then that stuff doesn't really matter much.

It wasn't a two score game, it was a one score game. The NFL added the two-point conversion about 15 years ago.

They were wrong about getting the ball back, I think sometimes these announcers are on auto-pilot and not really thinking.

Somebody might remember this - it was a while ago, but I was watching the game with my dad. Hoge was one of the other announcers with Hillgrove. There was a play and Hillgrove announces "uh oh, there is a Steeler down on one knee" where Hoge replies "he's tying his shoe".

I'll still take Hillgrove over the national guys in a NY second.

    X2.....

I tried for a few moments to sync the satellite radio feed with the vid feed... Couldn't do it easily, so I gave up.... Will try again next week when/if I have more patience... Would be nice to listen to the Pgh guys while watching the game....

They are the worst and I made mention of such in the GDT.Those couple of botched snaps we had, they kept saying Moore covered the ball when Moore wasn't even on the field.
