Default Starks and Hampton Expected to Play in Tampa

Starks and Hampton Expected to Play in Tampa
    PLAYERS: Max Starks, Casey Hampton
    TEAMS: Pittsburgh Steelers

The Steelers got what looks to be some good news today on the injury front. The team announced that starting Left Tackle Max Starks and starting Nose Tackle Casey Hampton are expecting to play on Sunday when the Steelers face the Bucs. I hope we are not rushing either of these guys back. We showed we can do without Casey versus the best runner in football. Hoke did what he needed to do and we got the victory. If he needs another week let him sit. It will be nice to see him back though. Starks on the other hand we need him. Hills and Scott are not the answer. With that being said though if Max is not healthy he should be sitting. We are already to the point where we hoped to be after 4 games. We have 2 wins and that was what most of us were hoping for going into the bye and getting Roethlisberger back. If Max needs one more week I can wait. We need him more healthy for when Ben returns then we need him right now.

I agree about not rushing these guys back. I see no difference when Hoke is playing and Hampton is not. As sad as Starks backups are I, would rather see Starks come back fully healed for some more quality opponents.
