Default 2010 MLB National TV stats

I always like to look at this each year. With the final game for TBS being locked in for Sunday (a meaningless Yankees-Red Sox game rather than a potentially huge Giants-Padres game), the final numbers are out.

    2010 MLB Television Stats

    Most Appearances on ESPN

    1. Yankees 18
    2t. Cardinals 13
    2t. Mets 13
    4t. Phillies 12
    4t. Red Sox 12

No Games on ESPN: Blue Jays, Orioles, Pirates

Teams Who Appeared on FOX for the Maximum Nine Times: Braves, Cardinals, Mets, Phillies, Rangers, Red Sox, Yankees

No Games on FOX: Blue Jays, Diamondbacks, Pirates, Royals

    Most Appearances on TBS
    1. Yankees 12
    2. Braves 5
    3t. Rays/Red Sox 4

No Games on TBS: Angels, Astros, Athletics, Diamondbacks, Mariners, Marlins, Padres, Pirates, Reds, Royals

Most Appearances on MLB Network (includes only primary games)
    1. Yankees 25
    2. Phillies 24
    3. Red Sox 19
    4. Braves 17
    5t. Giants/Rays/Twins 14

Fewest Games on MLB Network: Pirates 2

Total Number of Games Televised by MLB's Television Partners (ESPN/FOX/TBS)
    1. Yankees 39
    2t. Braves/Red Sox 25
    4t. Cardinals/Mets/Phillies 24
    7. Dodgers 19
    8t. Giants/Rays 17
    10. Cubs 16
    11. Twins 15
    12. White Sox 14
    13. Rangers 13
    14. Tigers 12
    15. Padres 10
    16. Reds 9
    17t. Angels/Brewers/Mariners 7
    20t. Nationals/Rockies 5
    22t. Astros/Athletics/Marlins 4
    25t. Indians/Orioles 3
    27t. Blue Jays/Diamondbacks 2
    29. Royals 1
    30. Pirates 0

One of those Pirates MLB Network games was only because it was Strasburg's debut.

I think 64 Yankees games is a new record. A clean sweep too. No one was really even close. No love for the Reds or Padres.

You are correct. If I remember correctly, the other game was in the first 2 weeks of the season when MLB network televised at least one game for each of the MLB teams. Of course, it wasn't until a few weeks later that everyone realized that Pittsburgh did not have an MLB team.
