    Default Alvarez' Year

He struggled at the beginning and has now turned it on (like has been his MO in the minors), but look at his whole year this year:

    585 At Bat, 29 HRs, 117 RBI

Not a bad year from only a second year player. Improvement will continue to be his key to success, but I'll take the above all day.

Yeah....I might have to tone down my "Pedro is a bust" talk.

Although I don't mind him proving me wrong.

And 17 errors is gonna make him a good 1bman.

Aramis Ramirez produced that and then some earlier on his career as a 3B and they still kept him there.

I don't see Pedro going anywhere until there's a real good 3B option available for the Pirates.

Which should be in about 1 1/2 years after next years draft.

IF he follows The Pedro Alvarez to the majors path, I agree and if he remains BPA by the time we pick #1 overall next season
