    Default Quit smoking...

I'm doing guys. I had one cig on Saturday that was the last one. Technically on day 3 here. It's supposed to get easier from here they say. I feel like I need some methadone or some ****.

Good luck! When I quit, I did the stage 1 patch twice, then stage two, and did not need to finish stage three. I think that was more than 5 years ago now!

What works seems to be different for everyone.

I was a two-pack-a-day smoker for many years and quit cold turkey. It's been 21 years since I quit and I couldn't even imagine wanting one right now.

    Stay the course!!!!

To quit is not all that difficult, but you must keep the mind-set

9 months now. It is easier after the first couple of days. i stopped craving after 2-3 days... what's the toughest is finding a replacement to relax you. I was spastic mess for a good couple of months. i couldn't control my temper and relax my stress levels like nicotine used to do. That got better over time but I still have that issue even now. I've been on a Male "rag" for the past few days actually . What's worse is you know it and you can't control it.

I've put on about 30-35 pounds and most of it in my belly and moobs

I think it's officially 4 days now, 5 days unofficially. It is getting a little easier but I am still craving it. I decided to stay home from the bar tonight because I'd end up bumming one. I don't know if there is anything that can replace it for me. Sweets and **** are no good. My teeth hurt. I hate gum. We had one of those huge thing of pretzel rods they were gone in 3 days. I just keep telling myself I can do things with the money I save. I love smoking but it's way too god**** expensive. Once I go a week I am going to buy myself a case of good beers and a sack of the sticky.

And oh yeah last couple days I woke up with a huge appetite, I don't like that. I usually don't eat in the morning, don't really have time. It's probably good to eat breakfast tho. Get the metab kicking in early.

I bought bags of sugar free mints from Costco. Still cheaper than tobacco. I'd only have one when I started to feel crazy . I did that for about a month or 2. I swear it was more about replacing flavor and something in your mouth (that screams penis jokes ) Been completely fine with that since.

Get used to that. took me a while to stop eating constantly. people i know that have beaten that became workout/excersize freaks, everyone else...we just eat and put the pounds on... I'm at the point where i'm back to the same eating habits as far as when I eat as I had for 30 years. My problem still is that I eat twice as much when I do eat

Personally for me... I thought it would've been much more difficult than it was. If I'd have known it was this easy, I'd have quick years and eyars ago. I bought in to hearing about how difficult it was and avoided doing so because of that

Well, you had a reason that I could understand for falling off the wagon. I don't know if I could've dealt with that type of stress and emotional stress actually without the need of nicotine to calm me down somewhat
