Strep throat has been going around pretty bad around here

... Not a cure, but this helps the symptoms...

1-oz Barenjager (honey liqueur) in half a coffee cup of water and just a few drops of lemmon juice in it... Micro for a minute or so to heat it up...
    .
    .
    .
...... A perfect "hot tottie" that soothes the throat....

Not at all... But you'd think it would by the name... LoL!

.... It's actually a Deutch liguour and is as sweet as a jar of honey... The tottie is great on a sore throat.

I had my tonsils out when I was 5 so I've never had it either but my daughter just got over it. Apparently, it sucks.

Jam a wooden spoon as far down your throat as you possibly can. Then once you've seeded the spoon firmly in your esophogus, scrape it back and forth two or three times. There that's a throat culture!!! Hope this helps your preparation!
