    Terrible Towel curse lifted?

The Titans have lost eight straight games since beating the Steelers on Dec. 21. 2008. That was the day several Titans stomped on the "Terrible Towel."

The Titans hope they took a step Thursday toward lifting what some have deemed a curse.

Radio host Thom Abraham of WNSR 560-AM and former Titans offensive lineman Brad Hopkins arranged for running back LenDale White and linebacker Keith Bulluck to sign a Terrible Towel.

It was shipped overnight to Pittsburgh’s Allegheny Valley School, the non-profit organization that benefits from former Steelers broadcaster Myron Cope’s “Official Terrible Towel” sales.

“We can’t figure out what has happened to this team,” Hopkins said, “so we figure it had to be the towel.’’

I'm not one who believes in curses, but Tennessee's problem's go well beyond stomping on the TT.

In all right and if they have any self-respect left in the tank, they should grab at least one win out of their next three (Jaguars, @49ers, Bills). Then again, going 0-3 would not surprise me with Vince Young at QB, who I felt was overrated the day he was drafted third overall.

You stomp on the towel and bad things happen to you. The curse has to run its course.

I would like to take credit (unofficially, of course) for being the first to use the "curse of the TT" thing.

Anywho, I picked the tits to win this week. They're gonna have to win one sooner or later.

Tits signing a Terrible Towel is only going to make it worse.

If they really want to make amends, $250K in charitable contributions to the Allegheny Schools should work along with a very public apology.

I agree. Them writing their names on a terrible towel is almost just as big a no no as them stomping on it.

Only way out for the Titans is a nice charitable contribution. In the thousands for sure.

A 53 man roster makes it less than $5k/man and they get to write it off which is a win/win.

Or they can continue with the lose/lose.

    Their choice....

I will say this much...the fact that they even thought of this...is realistically pretty much an apology. Think about it...they did it to have fun...and now they are saying it could lead to a curse? Just sayin...that at least acknowledging this kind of is like saluting Steeler Nation. Kinda crazy.

The defiling of the towel led to this curse of which has been causing the tits to sag. You can't apologize it away, just have to continue to suffer until it's over, because you can't unring that bell.

Towel remorse is pitifull. They have to feel three degrees below plant life to be posing with a Terrible Towel like that. Well, it ain't that easy and it don't work that way. Besides, I am not feeling the sincerity.
