    Default Pittsburgh Power 2011 Schedule Released

    "The Arena Football League 2011 Season will kick off the second weekend of March. This is the first season the AFL will be playing with an 18-game regular season schedule, making it the longest season in AFL history.

    Week 1 includes seven games stretched over a four day period starting on Friday, March 11, 2011. The first game of the season will be two new teams and in-state rivals Philadelphia Soul at Pittsburgh Power with kickoff time at 7 p.m. CST."

    Week 2 - Iowa Barnstormers vs Pittsburgh Power
    Week 3 - Pittsburgh Power vs Milwaukee Iron
    Week 4 - Tulsa Talons vs Pittsburgh Power
    Week 5 - Bye Week
    Week 6 - Jacksonville Sharks vs Pittsburgh Power
    Week 7 - Pittsburgh Power vs New Orleans VooDoo
    Week 8 - Pittsburgh Power vs Georgia Force
    Week 9 - Spokane Shock vs Pittsburgh Power

    Being someone that's not watched AFL since the Pittsburgh Gladiators were a team... I had no idea a season was 20 games long... WOW

    Bon Jovi is actually a decent owner, from what limited stuff I've seen....

    Looking forward to week #13 and Cleveland...

    Rather impressed with the national coverage of teams within the league. Not sure what I expected, or on what scale, but I do like it....

    Now that you mention it, I had to go back and look and I'm surprised as well. I was expecting to see teams from places like Birmingham, San Antonio, Memphis, Toledo (sorry 419), Portland etc...

    It's actually 18 games since we'll have 2 bye weeks. If Goodell has his way, the NFL is probably going to look like this real soon.
