Default UC: Collaros is doing great!

Well, it was a long strange trip of collegiate games yesterday for me.... USC lost to Oregon, which I actually expected but didn't like nonetheless....

... But what really impressed me this week was the continuing success of Zack Collaros for the Cincinnati Bearcats.... Tony Pike is still out and trying to adjust with a cast on his non-throwing arm, but his replacement has looked phenomenal!

Zach Collaros, UC backup QB this season:

    47 of 63 (75%), 749 yards, 9 TD, 1 INT, 213 rushing yards, 2TD rushing.

... With these numbers, they should feel safe in having to use him once again when Pike returns.... Add to this the fact that while Pike is a senior, Collaros is only a sophmore and will be thrilling the fans for a few more seasons.

So do you think this hurts Tony Pike's little hope he had for a heisman? Not that he was gonna win it anyway

I can't tell you how badly I wanted out of there." Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).

Yea.... I'd say it's shot to hell with the number of weeks he's missed.... Actually sad, because he was doing so good.

Yeah. Poor kid. He's a good QB. Does this hurt his draft number too?

Personally, I don't think so.... But Benny is the resident draft guru...

.... I had read either today or yesterday in the Cincy Enquirer that Pike is still high on the draft list for qbs.

I just recently started really paying attention to college football so sorry about all the questions I'm still trying to figure out this BCS rankings things. But from what I've been told I should just stop trying to figure that out since its really complicated and "dumb"

I agree with that.... The BCS is so conveluted that it's just a waste of time trying to figure it out.

I'll just enjoy Cincy doing good and not pay attention to what the polls say
