Default Bettis' take on last night's game

I was just listening to Cowherd (why? probably because I hate myself), Bettis was his guest and he talked about last night's game.

His take and I'm paraphrasing here of course.

-Patriots are a bad matchup for the Steelers and have been for the last 10 years.

-Patriots threw all night concentrating on the Steelers weakness the secondary.
-The Steelers DE's are great run stoppers- not very good pass rushers.
-Belichick used the different rushes to take advantage of OL injuries.
"Nice catch, Hayes. Don't ever ****in' do it again." -Lou Brown

Which brings up an interesting question. Assuming the Cowgirls look for a more permanent coach next year, Cowher's name has been mentioned quite a bit. Well if he were to get back into coaching, how about a return to Pgh instead?

Rockr why you just looking at the Pats game? Did you like what you saw against the Bungles? What about the Dolphins? How about the embarassing loss 2 weeks ago on Primetime to the Saints?

How quickly we forget about those games when defending Tomlin.

Cowher is not going to the Cowboys. He wants to much control and Jerry Jones isn't going to relinguish it. If the Panthers can get a Top 5 pick where Cowher can spend it on a franchise QB I coudl see him going there. They already have a pretty decent defense which should make him very happy. As for coming back to the Burgh I just don't see the Rooney's putting their tail between their legs and getting rid of Tomlin. The sad part about being a Steeler fan is when we need to fire coaches we don't do it.

No argument, but you choose a coach more for your division than a single team outside the division. I'm not saying to bring Cowher back, (just asking the question for discussion) but he did pretty well WITHIN the division.

As always, Belllicheat has too many smarts for Lebeau and now Tomlin too. Bellicheat vs. Arian is like a Mack truck going up against a guy in a wheelchair.

When you see Brady laughing with joy on the sidelines, just goes to show that he is taking candy from a baby when he plays the Steelers.

I guess you guys missed this part.

Or are you guys that eager to make every thread about bashing the current coaches?

If Tomlin's only blemish was losing to the Patriots then it wouldn't be a big deal. This team over the last two years is in a serious free fall under Tomlin and I won't rest on that.

True, the Pats disected us like a frog in high school biology. The Saints just toyed with us like a cat playing with a dead mouse.

Espn guys reported after Phillips was fired that BC would not be next Dallas coach--- If they go outside, its most likely Gruden.

I watch our D, and I get physically ill !!! How can you not get near the QB, and still allow every receiver to be wide open on every play!!!???
