    Default Steeler firsts for 2010

There were alot of first's last night. Tomlin and gang should be proud this morning.

1 - Pats first team to score a TD on their opening possesion 1st half.

2 - Pats first team to score a TD on their opening possesion 2nd half.

3 - Steelers first loss when Wallace catches a TD pass.

4 - Steelers first game where they allowed a rush longer then 14 yards.

5 - Wards first game in 186 without a reception.

Oh, the only first we couldn't hang onto was first in the AFC North.

Feel free to add more as you think about this game and how truly embarassing it was to watch.

Come on LVG, I know the loss sucked, but seriously its just entertainment.

I love Steelers football as much as anyone, but dwelling on losses like this has to be draining.

I get 16 weeks of Steelers football and most of the time they do ok for me. Its not like I lost a family member or a friend last night, yes the Steelers lost to the Patriots and looked bad doing it, but I still have a great family and friends and this loss can't change that. My game check would have been the same win, lose, or draw....

Believe me I don't dwell on this as much as you think. It's not like I kick the dog or beat up the wife when they lose. I am more frustrated about how we lose then the loss itself. We are going to lose but to be humiliated 2 out of the last 3 weeks is not Steeler football and I think we can both agree on that.

Fair enough...and no I don't think you beat up the wife or kick the dog!!

Though we sometime disagree, we usually get along on here cordially and no their play is not what I expect for sure.

You know after SB XXX and I was so upset and the next morning still was, and I went to work and had the worst day possible do to nothing from Super Bowl and Neil and then I put it into perspective and detached (Somewhat)

He kicks the dog! I've seen him do it! Seriously, one thing I forgot that he mentioned was Ward's streak getting snapped. That just goes to show how durable and special a player he has been all these years. Not only to play in that many games in a row, but to make a contribution in all of them is quite impressive! Especially considering that many of those years we were considered a running team!

I was really bummed about that. That's something he'll look back on in his career and be really proud of. The sad part is I thought he made the catch. His knee was down with possession and then he got hit. Simply another Goodell f-up IMHO.

POLITICIANS AND DIAPERS SHOULD BE CHANGED OFTEN AND FOR THE SAME REASON!

I have zero confidence in Tomlin. If we walked into Gillette stadium during the playoffs and beat the Patriots it would certainly be a step in the right direction toward me liking Tomlin.

But like you said I just don't see that happening unless Cassell is under center and he left for KC. Plus, I don't think we make the playoffs especially if we lose to the Jets. Then we lose tie breakers to both AFC East teams regardless of who wins the division.
