    Default MT fires a shot......

he has sent a signal...IMO...loud and clear...with releasing Reed...it wasn't about missing FG's as much as other STUFF. But the main intent was to get the players attention...shock factor...open their eyes...get serious....no **** like last year....while I wasn't ready to dump Reed...I like the move...or the fact he made some type of move.

Tomlin to the Steelers.....'You have been warned, don't make me have to stop the car and get out otherwise you all will suffer the same fate as Skippy."

Now if he could only admit a mistake and send a message through the coaching staff as well. I guess ****ting the bed as a coordinator for 3 straight years is no big deal.

He needs to do that with Horton, Arians, Randel El and tell Lebeau to fix what is broke.

Saying things like that Fezzi make you a bad Steeler fan. You should accept the 6-3 record and be happy we aren't Detroit LOL.

Not sure about the hate on ARE. To me the fact that he fair catches 99% of the punts simply can't be all on him. He's only following orders. If he's doing that on his own, then the coaching staff sits him and puts Sanders or someone in to field punts. Can't think of any other explanation.

Baby steps folks, don't **** up the whole apple cart at one time. Hopefully "the signal" will get results, if not...then to phase 2.

Tomlin can't admit a mistake until Ben or someone else tells him he made one. Plus, would he even hear it over the music playing on the headset.

I have wondered if they tell him to that because he has room to run on a lot of those but WHYYYYY??? And also he is a terrible WR.

All the more reason to have him return the punts. If we get him hurt then we don't have the awkwardness of benching him. It's a Win/Win

I am all for it. I'd like to get Sanders and Brown in uni tbh.

IMO it is a situational thing, deep punt close to the end zone they put him in as sure hands to fair catch, at little further out they put in Sanders for a return....my philosophy...not sure if it is MT's.

I'm not sure I am ready to blame players.

    Look at the facts:

#1 We have outstanding players in key positions along with some aging and less than stellar players.

#2 We have **** poor coaches in key positions and a head coach who seems hell bent on defending those coaches.

I don't care if you pick the all time all star team, and have them executing **** poor game plans, they will look sloppy.

I think Tomlin needs to look at himself first, admit that BA was a mistake, leave DL's defense alone, and evaluate people like Horton and when all of that is fixed, then look at the players!
