    Default Minor Leaguers of interest

I'm interested in seeing how the following hitters develope this year. These guys aren't top 20 prospects, but perhaps have some upside.
    Kyle Morgan
    Brock Holt
    Aaron Baker
    Evan Chambers
    Quincy Latimore
    Calvin Anderson
The following pitchers are also interesting to me and are outside of the top 20
    Brooks Pounders
    Trent Stevenson
    Jhonatan Ramos
    Nathan Baker
    jeffrey Inman
    Tony Watson
    Ramon Aguero
    Diego Moreno
    Brett Lorin
    Nathan Adcock
Does anyone else have any under the radar type guys to keep an eye on?

    That's a pretty good list.

I'd add Josh Harrison who we got from the Cubs to that list as well. 2B with a solid bat, not much power but middle infielders are tough develop with solid bats and solid defense.

I think there's going to be a few people interested in seeing how Tony Watson rebounds this season but as a whole I think a lot of people will be watching the pitchers since besides power hitters that's been an area where most wonder how deep we are at in regards to "quality" as opposed to just having bodies.

Latimore is someone of intrigue. Just 20 years old but finally broke out some signs of corner outfield power last year going from 5 to 11 homers. Still is hitting too far below average and his K/BB numbers are dreadful. I think his OBP was below .300, but he's hitting that age where more could simply come together. so this is a year to really watch him.

Lup the guy I will be keeping my eyes on this coming year is Eric Avila a 3rd baseman who played for the DSL Pirates. Obviously I haven't seen him play but from what I have read and analyzing his stats he is a very intriguing player. I would think the Pirates will bring him to the states for the 2010 season.

Jeff Inman and Nathan Baker sound interesting. Inman could very well be the steal of the draft. He was a projected 1st rounder before some arm fatigue or soreness dropped his velocity way down. Reports say that he is back to the upper range of his velocity which is I guess low to mid 90's consistently. Could be very interesting.

Diego Moreno has been getting a lot of positive buzz mainly since the later part of the past season. I started following him a little closer then but don't know a whole lot about him and his ceiling.

    High ceiling works for me

Moreno was a little old for A ball last year. It also was his first year in the states so advancing to WV was pretty good. As of last year he was just a power pitcher consistent mid 90's FB and power slider but nothing off speed. If he can learn a 3rd pitch (something off speed) he could be real good. He should start the year at Bradenton.

If the Pirates stay consistent to what they claim they are preaching then they will most likely be trying to get a changeup added to Moreno's repertoire I'd assume, which would be a nice addition to his other 2 pitches
