    Default Game ball...

this is tough. So many deserving today.

Iīm just going to give it to the whole team. From the coaching staff on down.

But, if I had to pick one player and give a reason, letīs say...

    Ben.

18/29 275 yards 3 TDīs 0 Int. 3 Att. 55 rushing yards. (outran the entire Raider team)

Ben is definitely deserving of it but I'm going to have to go with James Harrison. Especially considering the NFL is obviously targeting him. How can't you feel for this guy? He just wants to play football the way it's supposed to be played and is being targeted for it. Unreal.

His final stats - 5 tackles, 2 sacks, 1 forced fumble, 1 INT. That INT was actually a great play, the ball was deflected at the last second and Harrison made a great athletic play on it.

I give it to Horton because we actually covered receivers today.

I thought James Farrior played lights out today, last year I thought Farrior had maybe lost a step but he has been very quietly having himself a very good season so far...

I'm going yo give out 2 game balls and I'm going to go against the grain on this one..

    1. Offensive Line

The fact is this line that has absolutely no chemistry due to constant injuries. Today, Pouncey got injured and was out for some fo the game, Kemo was out for some of the game, Ramon Foster is starting at RG and Jonathan Scott who by injury is protecting Ben's blind side got injured for some time today... That is A LOT to overcome. Think of this... The Raiders coming into todays game were a Top 5 NFL team in sacks. Logically against this line they should've ate Ben up but nope..

Oakland - 2 sacks. One of those sacks was 120% on Ben who had retreated 10 yards with nobody around him, was out of the pocket, could find nobody open downfield after about 5 seconds and took the sack for whatever reason.

Besides that as a team we ran for 162 yards and a 4.9 YPA and Ben had time to throw for 275 and 3 TD's.

    2. The Secondary. It's been flat out awful all season long and today they looked great. It wasn't just bad passes and decisions by the Raiders there was actually good coverage. Zach Miller was planted. There were picks off of deflections. There should've been a Pick-6 by Ike had the refs not dedicated the entire game to ****ing the Steelers in the ***.

I knew we'd stop the run but it doesn't matter how good or bad the passing attack is, you never know if we can stop it. Last year we couldn't stop this Oakland Raiders passing offense. Today we did

Agreed 100% on the O-line and secondary, Kipper.

The O-line hasn't really played that bad at all this year. It's improved over last year even with the revolving door of players at that spot. The run blocking is actually worse than the pass blocking, IMO, but still not that bad.

The O-line was impressive all things considered. I can't believe we didn't run out of guys. Was kinda curious to see who they would use from other positions to fill in if needed. That said I think the play calling helped them out a lot, good mixture and didn't try to force too much. And the plays were executed with decisiveness. Arians deserves some credit for real. Why he can't be that way every week idk.

Last week we were saying we missed Holmes, in hind site I would say we still would have lost and I finally do think that Wallace is better. He might not have all the tricks of Holmes but what he does do cannot be bettered in the whole of the league imo and that is be as fast as lightening. Big ups to all receivers for hanging on to them today.
