Steelers DE Brett Keisel (calf) has been downgraded to questionable for Week 12.
It's different from the hamstring injury that kept him sidelined for the past four games. While all indications are that Keisel's hammy is fully healed, the calf could hold him out for Week 12. Ziggy Hood and Nick Eason are expected to start at defensive end with Aaron Smith also sidelined.

Steelers coach Mike Tomlin said RG Ramon Foster will remain the starter over Trai Essex. Foster started in Week 11 and was praised by Tomlin for his intensity and physical presence. "We liked the way that he and Flozell [Adams] worked together," Tomlin said. "We'll push forward."

Emmanuel Sanders has passed up Antwaan Randle El as the Steelers' No. 3 receiver.
Sanders caught a pair of passes, including one for a touchdown, in the Week 11 win. "He's made plays when given an opportunity," coach Mike Tomlin said. "He continues to prove it's not too big for him." Sanders has shown growing pains, as he's often not been on the same page as Ben Roethlisberger, but he's certainly a better talent than Randle El at this point, so we expect the move to stick.

Troy Polamalu will miss practice time again this week, but he's fully expected to start against the Bills. "Troy's injury is still the same and we will probably rest him the early part of the week," said Tomlin. "Of course it didn't affect his play on Sunday and we don’t anticipate it affecting his play this Sunday."

Coach Mike Tomlin expects DE Brett Keisel (hamstring) to return for Sunday's game at Buffalo. Keisel will practice Wednesday, and he finally appears to be over a hamstring injury that has kept him out of four games. Fred Jackson owners take note: the Steelers defense held Darren McFadden to 14 yards even without Keisel last week.
