    Default cyberweek

I bought some lighted running boards for the truck and a hard drive for the computer so far. The running boards light up when the dome lights come on (door opening), so you can see where you're going.

I want a 2TB drive but my wife is giving me ****. We have xfinity now and boy those files are coming down quick. Been collecting FLAC albums. Blurays and DVDs. Adds up very quickly.

I know what you mean with FLAC. I've been using FLAC versions to supersede some of my LPs, since they're a better source for producing DTS versions (which are also fairly sizeable files). Bigger HDs seem to be my way out and this week may be the time.

Yeah I filled up an old 80 gig just in the last month. I actually convert to apple lossless mpeg-4 so I can listen on iPhone. The Blurays are 10'gigs a pop tho. I like the Sata internal. The externals don't seem to last that long and I have everything in my house networked so I can stream or transfer files over LAN. No need for the external. Yet I have a Lacie 500 gig. Probably the last one I own.

I don't do the music thing yet and may never do movies. My commiecast dvr does't record. My hdd will be used for some some duplication and mostly for protection of a crash. Next may be a ssd.
I may check out "cloud" mirror back ups in the near future.
