    Default Harrison Fined $25,000

For the Ryan Fitzpatrick hit. This is getting ridiculous. Up to $125,000 on the year.

I'm sure the Rooney's will pick up his tab...Otherwise they should be speaking up for their player!

"James Harrison was fined $25,000 for roughing the passer, specifically he made helmet contact to the chest of the Buffalo quarterback, who was in a defenseless position at the time the contact was made."

The tackler will be left with no option but taking out the knees and there won't be a healthy QB in the league if that happens.

Here's a link that Brian McCarthy from the NFL PR posted on twitter today. Supposedly the teams got this in training camp.

I would argue that the quarterback is defenseless most of the time anyway.

James Harrison Should Punch Somebody And Get His Money’s Worth

Posted on November 30, 2010 by adam

Here’s some news that is sure to shock you: James Harrison was fined $25,000 for his hit on Ryan Fitzpatrick against the Bills on Sunday. If you’re keeping track at home, that’s the same amount of money Oakland’s Richard Seymour was fined for sucker punching Ben Roethlisberger after a play, and the same amount Tennessee’s Cortland Finnegan and Houston’s Andre Johnson were fined for their helmet-less fist fight on Sunday.

The Rooneys are gutless cowards who have taken it up the *** from GODell on too many occasions to even list. Hell, they were the biggest influence in the resident idiot getting the **** job so they are not going to say a word.

I'm not surprised one bit. How can you not expect this, at this point? So basically, Harrison's hit, which looked clean to most of us, is on the same level as two guys ripping each others helmets and throwing punches after a play. You just gotta love the direction this league continues to go.

This is getting ****ing rediculous!!! I've seen the play from two different angles several times. From what I saw, the hit was NOT late (it was bang-bang) and his FACEMASK made contact with *****patrick's CHEST! He did NOT lead with the CROWN of his head!

I was talking with my boss (who happens to hate the Steelers) today, who also coaches 7th graders in a CYO league... and he agreed that what he saw was a clean hit, despite it's ferocious nature! His opinion (which is also the way that I learned to play) is... if you can see your target, it is mostlikely a clean hit. #92 did not spear him, nor did he hit late... it was a fantastic hit IMHO!

What in the world does Harrison have to do???
Hidden Content Chuck Norris wears Steelers Pajamas!!!
