Default Refs turn a blind eye.......

It is one thing to have our players constantly FLAGGED and FINED ....

but last night I can recall 4 missed calls by the refs that should have resulted in a penalty.

    1. obvious.... Ben's nose...hit to a QB's head.
    2. Heath..even more obvious...so obvious that the announcers said on air before the game was over that someone from the league contacted them and said a flag should have been thrown.
    3. horse collar on Kemo's fumble recovery...pretty obvious.
    4. another hit to Ben's head, by Suggs... attempt to sack him the play before the TD....plain as day...hit to the QB's head.

Glad that Dan Rooney was present and hopefully he will go put a foot up Goodell's ***...if he can get it past Kraft's head.

Certainly, Ben's nasal incapacitation is dodgy. For pity's sake, the guy's 6'5" tall - you can't just casually have your arm at facemask level.

Some of the more diminutive players in the league, for example the shorter RBs (Maurice Jones-Drew, for example), run a greater risk if they're up against taller D players, but really... the gap in Ben's facemask?

On the Suggs sack attempt, I thought it looked dubious at the time and then the replay clearly shows Suggs' fingers under the edge of Ben head gear. Maybe the league should look at that a little.

Well, we'll see what happens as the week unfolds.

Wait a minute-dodgy?Don't I recall Harrison getting flagged a game or two ago for a blow to the quarterbacks helmet-and the back of it at that-while making a hit?Think the announcers proclaimed "lack of intent, but a rules a rule."OK,so where the hell is the rule now?Oh,thats right,it's just a rule when Harrison does it!Good thing he didn't break the quarterbacks nose-he might have drawn a suspension. It's hard enough to beat 11 guys straight up,let alone with the refs and hypocrites lined up with them.

Yeah, it doesn't matter how the hand got there!

It will be interesting to see some of the explanations about alot of the no-calls. Can't wait to hear rat birds *****ing and complaining when whomever it was that hit Heath get his 50grand fine.

But it was nice to see the ref's got the memo that Michael Oher was a graduate of the Flozell Adams School of Snap Count. What he have, 4 false starts last nite.

I saw and mentoned all of those along with 2 pretty blatant holding penalties. One of course was on Harrison that even Stevie Collinsworth saw and mentioned and the other was on a flat out mugging of Lamarr Woodley that was plain as day.

Dan Rooney's presence probably means very little. I'd be surprised if he knew where he was

Regarding the horse collar on Kemoeatu, I've noticed in the past few seasons it's not the "sexy" penalty that it used to be.

Remember when it was called every game because T.O. and Vick broke their legs from them?
It was the helmet to helmet hit of the early 2000's.

Now the refs are too busy looking for the helmet to helmet hit of our times- you know, the helmet to helmet hits.

It's no wonder the refs wear black and white stripe shirts like piano keys, they're as blind as Stevei Wonder.

Kemo was tackled by his hair. Hair is part of the uniform and horse tackling doesn't apply. Either get a haircut or tuck that **** in.

Harrison's face, on the sidelines, of the no call, on the Miller hit was priceless.

I don't think it has ever crossed his mind to tuck his hair in so that he won't get tackled by the hair running with the football.

He mouthed something. I am surprised he took it so calmly. He had 125,000 reason's to go crazy on someone last night. That hit on Miller should get at least $75,000 fine. That hit was the same if not worse then the Mossaqui hit and he was holding the ball Miller wasn't.
