Default McDaniels Launched In Denver; New Steelers OC?

    http://www.nfl.com/videos/denver-bro...McDaniels-news

I don't give a **** what happened in Denver and I also don't give a **** that he was associated with That ******* Belichick. The reality is that he was a ****ed good OC in NE and he needs to be the ONLY coach considered when BA gets launched at the end of the year.

Start the mantra now: McD for OC, McD for OC, McD for OC, McD for OC...

    Huh?

    I kinda like it!

As long as he isn't making any big decisions!

But then, if it means BA is gone, I would enjoy seeing my former mother in law at OC!

How effective would McDaniels really be in Pittsburgh? The Pats offense was good before and after McDaniels was there, who knows how much impact he really had with that offense. I'm guessing not that much.

I do want to see an offense that features shorter passes (among other things), just not sure if McDaniels would really be the guy to do that.

Although if it's a toss up between McDaniels and Arians, then I'll take McDaniels any day!

Yes and No. What he has done with Orton is pretty ****ing amazing consider what Orton was like in Chicago. He fits the mold of good coordinator but horrible coach.

I'd rather see Greg Davis get an interview TBH he was the OC for the longhorns and had a GREAT run from 1997 up until this season... Thats pretty **** Good if you ask me! He would do wonders for this Offense and how many weapons we have!

Arians is not going to get fired at the end of the season so it doesn't matter.

If the hard decisions are left to Tomlin he is staying. We have to hope the Rooneys ship him out of town.

There is a rumor that may be completely untrue but I want desperately to believe which is that Arians will take the pension next year. His time is up I think. If firing is a little harsh in their eyes maybe a suggestion for him to make it look like retirement to save him embarrassment would be appropriate. I know everyone here hates him but we don't really look at things realistically some times. The Offense has had a lot of success with him as OC including the ultimate success with a Super Bowl. If the stars alight for him one more time this year then it's going to be impossible to pink slip the guy. But like I say that doesn't mean he has to stick around either.

It seems like when the Steelers score a TD half the time it's off a broken play or it's Ben running the no-huddle offense. There's no doubt the Steelers offense has had some success under Arians, but how much of that should be directly attributed to Arians is very debatable when you actually watch the games.

And in case no one has noticed, the offense this year has kinda sucked. The offense has scored less than 20 points in 6 games this year, 7 if you count the Pats game (might as well since the game was pretty much over by the time the offense actually started scoring points). That's over half the games played so far.

I think it's clear that it's time for a change. Maybe it's wishful thinking but I firmly believe that this is Arian's last year. I think the rumors are true, he's retiring. I'm ready for some philosophical changes in this offense and I'm not talking about running the ball more.
