    Default Steelers draft

    Building for the future.

The Steelers have players from the linebackers on back and offensive backs to draft all defensive and offensive linemen in their next draft. Please include tight ends as at least some need. The exception would be if they think there is a Polamalu that falls in their hands or some other super human, not likely.

They have QB's, RB's and WR's. Enough to last a couple more years.
They have serviceable LB's, CB's and all the DB's to last a coulpe more years.

If a position falls through in the draft, then a cover guy or two.

I feel this is true, even if their top 6 draft picks end up on the practice squad for a while, before they start moving in.

Have your way with my opinion!

There's no way we get a top flight CB, so to me its a Guard (which can usually be had late in round 1) or D-Line.

But I am no draft expert, many know much more than I do about this stuff.

As long as we pick 32nd I don't care who we choose.

Actually, having 6 linemen on the practice squad could be difficult according to the make up of the team, but anyhoose.................Target areas of interest and draft the best guy. The Steelers are actually in a situation where, if available, they could draft for need, not desparation..need. Linemen fit there!
