    Default The safety................

Not sure if there is a thread already on the subject..I am sure there has been some discussion though.....why the hell do you get in the shotgun and that formation and play call when you are trying to squeeze a yard or two to get out from underneath your own goal post?

I would have prefered to spread the formation and do a QB sneak or I formation or pass action play formation and straight up the middle. COME ON B.A.!!!!!

I am happy about one thing..even after the loss....our offense outscored their offense. That should give our O...and us fans...some confidence.

    Only one thing.... Missed block....

.... Barring that, Mendy runs for at least 6-8 yds Because the opening lane was there.... Just a bad play and bad luck.... **** happens....

Poorly missed block..how do you not block Jason Taylor......also if it was Mendy instead of MM, he may have got across the goal line ...he is a little stronger and quicker IMO. But being in the shotgun the runner has to wait for the handoff as compared to already in a going forward motion towards the QB, ball, and line.

The block was missed because it was a brain fart on Essex's part, and he was pulled (replaced) after said play.... 9 times out of 10, that play goes for yardage IMO....

... As for Mendy over Moore.... Well, I ****ed up....

.... My bad on that description, as I clearly ****ed the pooch on that one.....

Are you sure it was Essex? I thought it was Scott that missed the block.

I like Moore, but he shouldn't have been the one getting that ball in that situation, IMO.

I'm in the minority but I didn't mind the call too much. Poor execution and questionable personnel on the play, though, IMO. It's the bigger picture with Arians that I do not like.

Moore did have a big hole, though, if he wasn't hit right after getting the ball.

No... Not completely... But that's what I thought I saw out of one eye half-closed while drinking that late in the game.... .... As obviously mistaken with other issues, it could'a been Scott... But either way, it was a simple blown block IMO... If it was made, there was room for some yardage afterwords... Just a missed block.... I dunno, but it's just sorta just the luck of the draw and a ****ed play... Should'a worked, so I don't fault the play call whatsoever.... But that's just me....

It was Scott and he got pulled because he got hurt.

We have the luxury of looking at the call after the fact. But any delay play out of the endzone is a risky call.

Other than that, I stated before, this in my opinion was Brucey's finest called game this season.

A block may have been missed, but no way should a slow developing play with an OL pulling be the call there. You're looking for a few yards, just line up and plow straight ahead with Mendy.

The risk wasn't worth the reward.

    It's really that simple.

    Thats what She said!

Seriously agree, 100% on with the analogy a 2-3 yard plunge is the call to go with there.
