    Default The Bengals... Again...

... But the NFL has contributed to this...

As of Thursday afternoon, the Bengals had nearly 3,000 tickets remaining for the game against Balt. Games normally must be sold out 72 hours prior to kickoff for lifting of the local TV blackout, but the deadline for this week has been shortened to 48 hours, giving the club until 1 p.m. today... I haven't heard the outcome yet.

This makes it an almost perfect record... The Bengals needed an extention for EVERY home game except the Steelers game... WTF?!... Sell them by the deadline or suffer the consequenses!... What is this **** of getting an extention for every game? Why not change the ****ing rule completely?!

The Bengals announced Friday that Sunday?s game against the Baltimore Ravens at Paul Brown Stadium will not be blacked out and will air live in Cincinnati on CBS affiliate Local12 at 1 p.m.

The Bengals, Local 12 (CBS affiliate WKRC-TV in Cincinnati) and Kroger worked together to ensure the blackout would be lifted. In honor of Veterans Day, Kroger will give away 500 tickets (250 pairs of tickets) to members of the Military. The tickets for the Military will be distributed at the following five Kroger stores today, during the hours designated below:
    Kroger Lebanon (11 a.m.-noon)
    Kroger Union (11 a.m.-noon)
    Kroger Hyde Park (10-11 a.m.)
Kroger Anderson Towne Center (1-2 p.m.)
    Kroger Fairborn (11 a.m.-noon)

At each of the five designated Kroger stores, the first 50 people who come to the promotional van outside the store and show a valid military ID will each get two tickets to the game.

.... Please tell me how a team tied for first in the division going into a game like Balt can't sell-out the game without help from local businesses?...

Sounds like they are heading down the San Diego route. If the Steelers play the Chargers in San Diego the only way to get tickets to the game through the ticket office at face value is to buy another game. This also happens when they play the Raiders. If you want to see the Raiders in San Diego you have to buy tickets to another game. No single tickets are sold.

I think they already announced that Jax is blackout locally. Sorry, Jax fan, you never should have been awarded a franchise.
